Pinwheel Carnival

I've mentioned before that the strangest things pop up in our local shopping centre but when wandering around recently I discovered men putting up what looked like a load of windmills. On further investigation, I discovered that they were celebrating a pinwheel carnival, so naturally I headed back to the shopping centre when it was all complete to see what it was all about.

There were literally pinwheels everywhere, but I loved how colourful they were. The atmosphere was fun and very carnival-like, with clowns, bubble-blowing and even pony rides. All of the shops got involved, displaying colourful pinwheel displays outside of their shops and in the windows. As far as randomness goes in Beijing, this was one of my favourites!

I wonder what will pop up next? Follow along to find out at Blog Lovin, Insta and Twitter
