Challenge | 10,000 Steps

In a bid to become more active and lose weight, I recently bought myself a Fitbit. I won’t lie, I’m a little bit obsessed. The first thing I do when I wake up is check how I slept and I’m forever checking my step count. Being in an active job, I always thoughts I would take a good amount of steps each day but I was so wrong. I was actually shocked to see how few steps I average in a day.  




So, what is my challenge? 

To walk 10,000 steps every day in the month of May.

The thing is, if I don’t walk a good number of steps during the school day, I will never reach my goal, because I’m just not the kind of girl who loves to exercise. I’m not the kind of person who chooses to go for a walk instead of walking a movie on an evening, although I am trying to change that mind set. 

I know I need to be more active but I’ve been so inactive for a long time that I’m starting with small steps. I intend to build on my activity level as my fitness (and motivation) grows. So, let’s do this!
